multicat software package provides Set of tools for multicast and transport stream manipulation, you can install in your Ubuntu 14.04 LTS (Trusty Tahr) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install multicat
multicat is installed in your system.
Make ensure the multicat package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep multicat *
You will get with multicat package name, version, architecture and description in a table
